The Boston Globe’s most recent circulation numbers show it lost another 10.3% of its print readers over the past year, and is now down more than 50% since 2019, the last year before the pandemic.

The Globe’s average weekday circulation from April through September of 2025 was 45,596, according to the report it filed in recent days with the Alliance for Audited Media. That’s 5,248 fewer than the same period a year ago, and a 52% drop from the same six-month period in 2019.
