TREME CREOLE GUMBO FESTIVAL: The festival showcasing the culinary and cultural heritage of the Tremé neighborhood will be celebrated Nov. 8-9, 11 a.m.-8 p.m., in Louis Armstrong Park, 701 N. DESTREHAN PLANTATION FALL FESTIVAL: The fest at Destrehan Plantation, 13034 River Road in Destrehan, will be held Nov. 8-9 with more than 180 arts and crafts booths, a bungee jump and a Model A car club, with music by Ryan Foret and Foret Tradition on Saturday and Peyton Falgoust Band on Sunday. $10 for adults, $5 for children 6-12.
