After a few cold starts, the Boston Celtics have finally gotten their first big win.

Boston lost to the Philadelphia 76ers , the New York Knicks , and the Detroit Pistons in their first three games of the season; their first season victory came against the New Orleans Pelicans .

However, the night of Oct. 29, 2025 saw the Celtics beat back the Cleveland Cavaliers by score of 125-105, a marked change from the team that let Philadelphia overcome a sizable lead last Wednesday.
