(KTLA) -- Former child actor Floyd Roger Myers Jr., who appeared in the popular sitcom "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" and television miniseries "The Jacksons: An American Dream," has died, according to a report. He was 42 years old.

His mother, Renee Trice, told TMZ that the actor passed away at his Maryland home early Wednesday morning after a heart attack. She told the outlet Myers had three heart attacks over the last three years.

Trice posted about her son's passing on Facebook, and she shared a link to a GoFundMe page organized by his sister, Tyree Trice.
