I’m hurting today.

We all have imperfections, and many of us—present company included—try at times to ignore them—pretend they don’t exist.

Yet imperfections, I believe, can make one stronger in a process that can be cleansing.

I’ve learned the hard way.

At 75 now, I’ve discovered that pain, both physical and emotional, can be a blessing; pain often lets one know that something is awry. A gut check.
