ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Virginia State Police are investigating two two-vehicle crashes that happened early Thursday on Interstate 81 at the 238-mile marker.

At about 12:15 a.m., VSP responded to a crash involving two northbound tractor-trailers. One of them jackknifed and was then hit the second one. Both of them came to rest in the median. The driver of the second one was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries, while the driver of the one that jackknifed was charged with reckless driving.
