COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)- A Midlands woman won big after a store clerk gave her the wrong ticket, according to SC Lottery officials.
A Midlands lottery player says a clerk’s mistake won her $500,000, and she couldn’t be happier for the mix up.
The win came after an employee at the Piggly Wiggly on N. Main Street accidentally gave the player the wrong $10 scratch-off ticket.
“I just kept it,” the winner states to South Carolina Education Lottery officials.
“It was a blessing that has changed my life,” continues the winner.
The odds of winning $500,000 in the Feeling Lucky? game are 1 in 1,500,000. Two top prizes remain in the game.
