Columbus City Schools’ Board of Education candidate Mounir Lynch came under fire recently by StopAntisemitism for a pair of posts he made on Oct. 7, 2023, along with an additional post from March 2024 that the user said made the contender unsuited for office.

“StopAntisemitism,” which has over 345,000 followers on X and describes itself as a U.S.-based organization fighting antisemitism, posts examples of what they deem as antisemitic acts and identify the poster, along with their role in communities across the United States. The post about Mounir was shared on Oct. 24, starting by saying “Columbus, OH antisemite alert.” The post contained screenshots of the three tweets along with a photo of Lynch.
