Diane von Furstenberg couldn’t be iconic without her support system.

As the 78-year-old was honored with the Icon of Culture award at Perelman Performing Arts Center’s annual gala, she shared how important it was for her to have her 54-year-old daughter Tatiana von Furstenberg and 25-year-old granddaughter Antonia Steinberg by her side.

As she told E! News in an exclusive interview on the red carpet Oct. 28, “My family is everything.”

Indeed, Diane—who shares Tatiana and son Alexander von Furstenberg , 55, with late ex Prince Egon von Furstenberg —knows the importance of standing by the ones you love, as she just marked 50 years with husband Barry Diller .
