MIAMI GARDENS — With a flurry of injuries in the secondary this season, the Miami Dolphins are getting some relief ahead of Thursday night’s game against the Baltimore Ravens .

The Dolphins announced Thursday afternoon that rookie cornerback Jason Marshall Jr. has been activated off injured reserve, ahead of the 8:15 p.m. kickoff at Hard Rock Stadium .

Defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver has previously said that Marshall would immediately return to his role as the team’s nickel cornerback upon his return.

Marshall first suffered his hamstring injury in the Sept. 18 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Placed on IR, he then had to miss the following four games. The Miami Palmetto High and Florida Gators product was designated for return and returned to practice last week in preparation for
