The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is asking residents in Northern Michigan to participate in Michigan Chemical Exposure Monitoring also known at the MiChEM program.

The MiChem program will be focusing on gathering data to see the amount of chemicals we are exposed too.

The study randomly selected regions around the state. Traverse City and Peninsula Township were chosen to participate. 9&10’s Megan Huiskens spoke with Rachel Long, Environmental Epidemiologist, on how people can participate in the study.
