ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Irondequoit Police Chief is crediting body-worn cameras for helping make another arrest, over three weeks after a homicide happened at Lush Swigs Lounge on East Ridge Road.
The town of Irondequoit has shut down the lounge and revoked its occupancy permit following the incident.
42-year-old Gabrielle Green is charged with tampering with physical evidence, a Class E felony. Chief Scott Peters told News 8's Adelisa Badzic that there were things going on inside the lounge that looked like people were trying to cover up what actually happened.
"It looks like the bar owner, and the suspect [48-year-old Nuri Simmons] appear to have a familial relationship." Chief Peters added.
