Mortgage rates are the lowest they've been since 2022. Here's how to get one even lower now.

While it may still feel like mortgage interest rates in the 4% to 5% range are still a ways off, the reality is that rates are slowly but noticeably declining again.

Case in point: Mortgage rates have been declining for much of 2025 . After starting the year averaging over 7%, rates on Thursday again moved back to a three-year low of 6.13% .
