Rocky Erickson: 20 years ago, a loss inspired Billings West to glory

BILLINGS — Back in 1997, Bozeman High’s outstanding kicker Travis Dorsh was wide left on a 45-yard field goal attempt as time expired, giving Billings West a 34-33 win in the State AA football championship game.
