NISKAYUNA, N.Y. (NEWS10) - Voters in the town of Niskayuna will be choosing a town supervisor next week. Two candidates are running for the job.

Democrat Erin Cassady-Dorion is trying to win her first full term. She was appointed supervisor when Jaime Puccioni resigned from office.

One of her top priorities is making Route 7 safer. There have been multiple crashes on Troy Schenectady Road over the years, some of them have been fatal. She says a new study will be key to achieving that goal.
