BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- Halloween movies aimed at young moviegoers can either be a trick or a treat.
If the material and animation are too juvenile, the older members of the audience will go into a cinematic coma. Then there is the potential problem of making the story and visual design too spooky and spark youngsters to go screaming from the theater.
Director Steve Hudson has found the right balance with “Stitch Head.” The combination of quirky but cute characters with a story about being accepting of others that will resonate with adults makes the film a holiday treat.
