CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) - As we hit the end of the highs school football regular season, Canfield standout Landon Shina's senior year is off to a pretty good start.

"It kind of went blink of an eye. I mean, I'm not expecting our to be in our first bye week for playoffs," Shina said. "It was felt like it was yesterday and now we're excited for this bye week to take ourselves settled down and be ready for what's come next."

It's somewhat mirrored his career so far as a Cardinal. On the football field, Shina shines on both sides, scoring touchdowns and sacking opposing quarterbacks for the nine-win Cardinals.

On the hardwood, he brings that style of play as a key catalyst in back-to-back district titles.
