Friday may be Oct. 31, but this Halloween is all about the Jays.
With the Toronto Blue Jays one win away from their first World Series title in a generation, trick-or-treating is taking a back seat in London Friday. Local bars and eateries are gearing up for a night filled not just with costumes, but plenty of Jays jerseys and hats.
“Every single person that comes through our door will be watching the Jays game,” said Jazzmin LePage, manager at Mustang Sally’s on Wharncliffe Road.
“We have actually pushed off our band for the Jays game so that we can have the sound on for the game, because everybody’s going to be watching it.”
