Scarborough Beach will transform into a global sporting arena next weekend as Perth hosts the Facto Financial Beach Tennis Open.
As part of the official International Tennis Federation Beach Tennis World Tour, the BT10 and BT100 event will see elite players from around the world descend on the coast to compete for $15,000 in prize money and valuable world ranking points.
Among those competing is former world number one Luca Cramarossa, who is still ranked 23rd in the ITF official rankings.
The four-day event is free for all spectators to attend, and it is the fourth time the tournament has come to Perth, with last year’s edition staged at City Beach.
