LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Aging Partners on Thursday announced it will expand its lunch service for seniors whose SNAP benefits are paused due to the government shutdown.
Starting Nov. 5, hot meals will be available to residents age 60 and older in two 45-minute sessions — 11:15 a.m. to noon and 12:15 to 1 p.m. — at Victory Park.
Meal service at Aging Partners’ other senior center locations remains unchanged.
Meal reservations are required two days in advance at all Aging Partners Senior Center locations.
For the expanded Victory Park meal service, seniors may make reservations by calling 402-441-7154.
StarTran bus service to Victory Park is available on routes 44, 48 and 54.
