UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. (WTAJ) — Penn State administrators held a virtual meeting Thursday to discuss key initiatives, including plans for WPSU and its branch campuses.
During the 'State of State' event, Penn State leaders addressed several pre-submitted questions, focusing on enrollment concerns and a projected demographic cliff.
"Every conversation, every partnership, every decision we now make should be about how do we build a stronger Penn State together for the decades ahead," President of Penn State Neeli Bendapudi said.
The meeting also covered topics such as the sale of WPSU, staff raises, funding for research, and the closure of Commonwealth campuses.
"Priority number one is to make sure that we oversee the process of closure or the campuses that are closing in the most compassio
