KILGORE, Texas — The city of Kilgore is advising residents on how they should be cleaning up any storm debris left behind after Tuesday's tornado.
Fire Chief and Emergency Management Coordinator Ryan Riley asked that people pile up any natural debris from the storm by the right of way for the Public Works Department to pick up. This should only include tree limbs and cut up fallen trees. For any other debris, people should contact Republic Services to schedule a bulk pick-up.
Kilgore residents will have a free drop-off once a month to the landfill equal to three cubic yards (about the size of a pickup truck bed) with a Kilgore water bill.
