ATLANTA — A group of Atlanta community leaders took their message of peace across the world to South Korea, joining more than 800 global delegates for the 11th HWPL World Peace Summit.
The international gathering, hosted by Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL), centered on the theme “Uniting for Peace and Fulfilling Humanity’s Duty Together.”
Twenty-two delegates from Georgia, including faith leaders, educators, and civic advocates, attended the summit in Cheongju, South Korea. The Georgia chapter of HWPL was highlighted for its role in helping pass local resolutions supporting the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War across Fulton, DeKalb, and South Fulton counties.
