PHOENIX — Authorities issued a Turquoise Alert on Thursday afternoon for a missing 16-year-old boy from Peoria.

According the Arizona Department of Public Safety, Chandler Ikard was last seen at 6:30 a.m. leaving his home near 95th Avenue and Beardsley Road to go to school.

DPS described Ikard as a 140-pound white male with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet, 9 inches tall.

Ikard was wearing a gray and black vest.

Ikard’s family is concerned for his safety, DPS said.

Anyone with information regarding Ikard is asked to call the Peoria Police Department at 623-773-8311 or contact 911.
