‘All is calm, all is fright!’

This home at 817 NW Third Street is a favorite for trick-or-treaters every Halloween. Each year, the City of Abilene closes NW 3rd Street from N Elm Street to N Pine Street to help keep the area safe for the large number of families and children who visit the area. The streets will be closed from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31. Residents along the route are asked to remove vehicles from the street and to turn off outdoor lights if they do not plan to participate in trick-or-treating.
