FLOYD COUNTY, Ind. —
A Louisville man wanted for murder in southern Indiana has been arrested states away in Maryland, months after a warrant was issued for him.
Floyd County prosecutor Chris Lane announced Thursday 42-year-old Marlon Love was arrested in Maryland.
Love is charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
He is the third suspect charged in the case. Timothy Love III and Kennedy Forrest were charged in January.
Timothy Love pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder and Forrest pleaded guilty to assisting a criminal.
Police were called to the 4700 block of Grantline Road in New Albany on Christmas Eve 2024 about a person who had been shot.
New Albany police arrived and found 23-year-old Jalen Baker suffering from gunshot wounds. Baker was taken to the hospital,
