STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — When it rains, it pours — and on a soggy Thursday afternoon in New Dorp, costly turnovers and big plays allowed by the McKee/Staten Island Tech Seagulls resulted in a 20–6 loss to James Madison in PSAL 3A action.
“We just need mental toughness right now — being able to respond when we’re down, bounce back from turnovers, and handle the frustration that comes at these points in the season. It’s about refocusing, finding the positives, and getting ready for next week. We’ve got another game coming, so we can’t dwell on this one," Seagulls head coach Chris App Jr. said after the contest.
