Philadelphia Eagles star offensive tackle Jordan Mailata is one of the better players at his position in the league. He is not afraid to get in the trenches with anybody, and that includes with reporters.
He proved that last month when Mailata had some choice words for ESPN’s Adam Schefter over the ESPN analyst’s take on the “tush push” play.
The Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 20-17 at Arrowhead Stadium last month, and the team used the highly controversial play during that contest.
Unhappy NFL fans thought Jordan Mailata and the Eagles’ offensive line got away with blatant false start infractions during the tush push play, so Schefter suggested that the Chiefs “lost” the Week 2 contest in March, when NFL owners notably declined to outlaw the tush push play.
