A Pennsylvania woman, Kathryn Runner, considers herself fortunate to be alive after being shot in what police describe as an unprovoked road rage incident on a local highway on Monday evening.
Runner told WPVI that she was passing a slow-moving vehicle near the Newtown Bypass and Woodbourne Road around 6:30 p.m. when the driver allegedly fired at her.
“I had no road rage,” Runner stated. “I didn’t, like, honk at him, I didn’t flip him the bird. I didn’t do anything to him. What gets me is a lot of cars passed him. What made him choose me?”
After the first shot hit her left wrist, she called 911 and followed the vehicle to get the license plate. The driver then allegedly made a sudden turn and fired two more shots, striking her again.
Newtown Township police located the suspect, Christo
