YOUNGSTOWN The Youngstown City School District (YCSD) held a luncheon on Thursday for students who recently registered to vote.
Elected officials from all around Youngstown spoke with seniors from East and Chaney High Schools who will be voting for their first time in November during the "Empowered to Vote" luncheon at Choffin Career and Technical Center.
East High School Assistant Principal Artemus Scissum emphasized the importance of students being involved in their community and performing their civic duty.
