OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEHT) -- Habitat For Humanity Owensboro has received a big boost for a new neighborhood.
Thursday, Habitat For Humanity received a $100,000 grant from the Hager Educational Foundation. Officials say the neighborhood development will help those who need safe affordable housing.
Officials with habitat for humanity say that the neighborhood will consist of 15 to 20 homes. The organization will receive the first half of the grant next fall and the other half in 2027.
