(The Hill) -- A new poll released on Thursday found more Americans are blaming President Trump and GOP lawmakers in Congress than Democrats as the government shutdown hits the one-month marker.
The Washington Post-ABC survey found that 45 percent of U.S. adults say the president and Republicans are to blame for the federal shuttering while 33 percent of survey respondents say they blame Democrats.
Twenty-two percent of participants said they were not sure who to hold responsible for the shutdown.
One Republican strategist previously told The Hill the president has shown no sign of reversing course amid the closure as most of his agenda remains intact.
