DARTMOUTH — Even though the chance of making the playoffs is slim for the Bishop Stang football team , the Spartans played with a purpose on Thursday night in their regular-season finale.

Bishop Stang led from start to finish in a commanding 47-0 win over Cardinal Spellman at Hugh Carney Stadium.

The win ended a three-game losing streak for the Spartans, who were ranked No. 21 in Div. 5 in Tuesday’s MIAA power rankings.
