The Powassan Voodoos have bolstered their offence adding 2005 birth year American forward Parker Bonsignore as a free agent, the club announced Thursday. The Rochester, New York product has a familiar name to the north as his father Jason Bonsignore played for the Sudbury Wolves in the 1990s and went on to play 79 NHL games with Edmonton and Tampa Bay. The 6’1”, 175 pound forward split last season between the Aurora Tigers of the OJHL and the Cornwall Colts of the CCHL netting 4 goals and 1 assist in 20 games split between the two organizations. “We are super excited that Bonsignore, a left shot forward, has decided to sign with our team,” said Peter Goulet, Voodoos head coach.
