It wasn’t pretty at times, but it was a historic night as the home team held off the Heat for a win to earn the first 5-0 start for the San Antonio Spurs in the existence of the franchise. The game was a series of runs and the Heat’s offensive strategy of quick offense had the young Spurs off balance for much of the game. The Spur took a 15 point lead into the fourth quarter, a lead the Heat erased with a 17-1 lead to take a Heat lead into the final few minutes.
