Four Fort Worth Independent School District board members made the trip to Austin for an informal hearing about the state takeover of the district.
Board members Anne Darr, Toby Jackson, Roxanne Martinez and Wallace Bridges showed up with three attorneys.
The hearing was private with no cameras allowed by Education Commissioner Mike Morath, the man who said these board members have failed to do their jobs.
