We are giving you the FIRST ALERT to drier conditions for Halloween.

After seeing as much as 1-2″ of rain in a 48-hour period in Eastern Kentucky, we finally get a break just in time for Halloween.

We will keep the rain chances in the forecast as we head into the evening hours, but they will be few and far between.

For your Friday, the upper-level low that was smack dab over Eastern Kentucky will push off to the northeast.

We will get on the back end of the low, which will keep the wind out of the North and Northwest, which will keep us in the 50s.

Then we go into the weekend, where high pressure regains control.

We will stay quiet for the most part on Saturday.

It’s when we get into Saturday Night and Sunday Morning that rain chances will start to pick up once again.
