CHEYENNE — A circuit court judge set a bond of $7,500 cash only for the suspect in an assault case that prompted law enforcement to call SWAT for assistance in the arrest.
Robert Crenshaw, 47, was arrested Monday on a felony charge of aggravated assault and battery with threat of a deadly weapon after allegedly holding a knife to resident Dennis Carroll’s neck over a disagreement that occurred the week prior.
The disagreement was reportedly about an incident that had taken place a week prior regarding an E-bike and a mutual friend, according to the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies made repeated attempts to contact Crenshaw on Monday afternoon, but he refused to come out of his home or to communicate with deputies, according to court documents.
