ROMEO – Fresh off a pair of regional wins, Romeo hopes to put together some fine finishes this weekend at Michigan Speedway.

The Bulldogs girls cross country team is ranked third in the state and is the two-time defending state champions at the MHSAA Division 1 state finals, held each year at the Michigan Speedway down near Brooklyn, Michigan, since 1996.

In fact, Romeo has been ranked in the top three all season and are making its eighth straight Division 1 state finals appearance overall. The Bulldogs are also trying to post their fourth straight top three finish and seventh straight top 10 finish which would be one of the best streaks in Macomb County history.
