MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) — As a way to lead the conversation on what residents of Monongalia County are hoping to gain from the upcoming legislative session, a Legislative Send-Off was held on Thursday.
An annual tradition of the Morgantown Area Partnership is its Legislative Wrap-Up and Legislative Send Off events, inviting the public and members of the business community to ask questions to representatives and legislators.
Delegate Evan Hansen (D-Monongalia) and Representative Michael Oliverio (R-Monongalia) were present at Thursday's meeting, where Melissa Hornbeck, cochair of the government affairs committee of the Morgantown Area Partnership, mediated the conversation.
