Bonfire Night is a popular holiday that gives people an excuse to get their friends and family together and enjoy a display of fireworks. Cambridge Fireworks Night is one of the city's longest running events and draws in huge crowds every year to Midsummer Common.
As well as having a fireworks display, the event features walk-about performances from acts such as Autin Dance Theatre's 13-foot puppet from Out of the Blue and five puppeteers.
There will also be street food vendors to grab a hot meal to enjoy during the show. However, the display will not feature a bonfire, a tradition many people will argue is essential to Bonfire Night .
