A suspect was arrested in connection with a shooting in Riverside that left a man in critical condition.
The suspect was identified as Paul Chacon Workman, 40, of Riverside, according to the Riverside Police Department.
On Oct. 24, officers responded to a shooting at a parking lot in the 6100 block of Van Buren Boulevard shortly before 6 p.m.
Police found the victim, identified only as a man in his 40s, suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics transported him to the hospital where he remains in critical condition.
No suspect was located nearby at the time. Following an investigation, detectives identified Workman as the primary suspect.
On Oct. 30, police confirmed they had located Workman in San Bernardino where he was taken into custody.
