CLINTON TWP. – There’s something familiar about all of this on the pitch.
Clinton Township Faith Christian and Troy Bethany Christian will face off for not just the third time this season on the soccer pitch, but also for the third straight year on the final day of the high school boys soccer season.
The second-ranked Patriots and top-ranked Bruins will compete in the Michigan Association of Christian Schools Division I boys soccer state finals Nov. 1 at Corunna High School starting at 3:30 p.m.
Troy Bethany Christian defeated Faith Christian 4-0 on Oct. 10 and again 4-2 on Oct. 17 to complete the regular season sweep in Wolverine Christian Conference play and to win the conference championship.
This time the stakes will be even greater.
