The Oregon Ducks women’s basketball team won 113-36 Thursday night over Western Oregon in an exhibition game at Matthew Knight Arena.
Oregon received 28 points from forward Sarah Rambus, while guard Katie Fiso scored 12 points and handed out nine assists.
The Ducks open the season at 6 p.m. Monday against West Georgia.
Oregon unveiled its new up-tempo offense, and the night couldn’t have gone much better. Out of 13 players in action, 11 scored with five in double figures.
“I loved it,” Fiso told reporters. “Obviously, we’re pushing for that fast-paced play. And I feel like the team did a really good job running to their spots.”
Oregon coach Kelly Graves came away impressed with his team’s depth.
