FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. – The ongoing government shutdown continues to affect millions who depend on the government for their paychecks and food assistance.
At Fairchild Air Force Base, 2nd Harvest stepped in to help those in need. They distributed groceries to 400 people during a mobile market event.
Volunteers placed groceries directly into the trunks of cars, ensuring families received essential supplies.
