AMHERST, Texas (KCBD) - The Amherst Bulldogs (4-5, 1-1) stepped out of district play Thursday night and beat the Eagles of Clovis Christian 62-6.

Bulldogs Fabian Reyes and Aiden Rodriguez combined for multiple scores in the first, as Amhert surged ahead for the win. Next week, the Bulldogs will close out their regular season and seek out a playoff spot as they host the Lazbuddie Longhorns.
