Though Cyclone Montha has weakened after making landfall in Andhra Pradesh earlier this week, its aftereffects are still being felt in southern states.
Heavy rains continued to lash several parts of Telangana on Wednesday and Thursday morning, causing flash floods and waterlogging in low-lying areas across several districts.
After hitting the coastal belt of Andhra Pradesh, particularly cities and districts like Visakhapatnam, Kakinada and Tirupati, the cyclone also caused relentless downpours in Telangana.
Due to the impact of Cyclone Montha, heavy rain and waterlogging were witnessed at Warangal Railway Station in Warangal district.
In the video, people can be seen wading through knee-deep water while crossing the road in Warangal, some of them wearing life jackets for safety.
