This was the moment a mystery man in high-vis pulled off a Banksy-style stunt when he 'drilled' a Black Sabbath tribute into a wall near The Crown pub in Birmingham .

Footage shows the man, dressed like a workman, installing a brass bat below a plaque that says 'this should be a museum to Heavy Metal' before calmly packing up and walking away.

In a clear tribute to Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne - the latter who famously bit into the head of a real bat on stage - the gold pieces were installed outside the Grade ll-listed pub where the heavy metal pioneers played their first gig.

For that reason, the Station Street boozer, which has been closed for more than a decade, is widely considered to be the birthplace
