ROCKLIN, Calif. —
Every day between 4 and 5 p.m., Placer County election workers gather the ballots cast throughout the day in the county and deliver them to the election office.
It's all part of the election process for the special election Nov. 4.
Placer County Election officials invite voters to come to the office and watch them work. They even have live cameras 24-7 of the sorting and counting people can watch on their website.

They keep a daily tally of the votes. On Thursday, just over 109,000 of the 300,000 registered Placer County voters have cast their ballots.
Chuck and Cynthia Holeman voted Thursday.
