LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Quiet weather continues to stick around for our Friday and for those trick-or-treating this evening!

Temperatures are starting out rather chilly as most areas are back into the lower to middle 40s this morning, so you’ll definitely want the jacket or coat.

Sunshine will help to warm us through the afternoon with most areas climbing back into the upper 60s to lower 70s.

If you have plans for Friday Night Football or trick-or-treating, you may want to take a light jacket with you as we fall into the lower 60s around kickoff, then cool back into the 50s by the time things wrap up.
